Smart Trash Collection System – An IoT and Microcontroller-Based Scheme

Aims: IoT-based trash collection system is a that can automatically detect obstacles, which be simplified as trash, and opens the Meta Bin lid to receive trash. The main goal of make an environment where find digital automatic way system.
 Study Design: existing research aims design, simulate, implement new play vital role in terms making clean, large sense world clean. Along with carry not only bin but also any portable devices it operated automatically.
 Place Duration Study: Department Computer Science Engineering Electrical Electronic Engineering, American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), Dhaka, Bangladesh between October 2022 February 2023.
 Methodology: In this work, we have designed model using Arduino, IoT device, servo motor, ESP8266 Wi-Fi microchip, several DC motors, IR Sensors, LEDs, etc. build like Meta-Bin. Arduino IDE used for program development.
 Results: This automated bin, has different level capacity proper identifications LED light indications. Also, continuous notification enabled here. After testing implemented system, gives accurate result every possible accuracy rate more than 95%.
 Conclusion: successful implementation research, hope there will autonomous, well-decorated, digital, user-friendly available citizens Bangladesh. immensely helpful all kinds people ensure clean environment, might soon.
